We had an amazing time kayaking in the clear waters nearby. The staff was incredibly friendly, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Access to coffee and snacks all day was a lovely perk, especially for our early morning adventures.

In my wife’s opinion, a small improvement would be adding more family-friendly activities on-site.

We faced issues with the in-room AC units which emitted bright lights, disturbing our sleep at night. This made it difficult for us to fully relax and enjoy our stay. The noise levels from the nearby street also impacted our comfort, as we wished for a quieter environment.

I loved staying at Avalon B&B. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Duval Street. The first-floor room with two queen beds was spacious and comfortable. Mornings on the porch are fantastic, especially with the delicious breakfast options. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs and fresh pastries daily. The fresh cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch, paired with refreshing lemonade. Staff here are super friendly and always ready to help. They even gave great recommendations for local attractions. The only downside was the bright lights on the AC unit that made it hard to sleep well. Overall, it’s a cozy spot with a lovely atmosphere.

I adored the charming Victorian decor with lovely tropical artwork and a cozy porch for breakfast overlooking Duval Street. It felt like a home away from home that was both comfortable and inviting for us seniors.
